The facility includes a Gashapon Department Store featuring over 3,000 unique Gashapon installations.
Bandai Namco has recently announced the opening of their flagship store "Bandai Namco Cross Store" on March 18th, 2023 at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City World Import Mart building, merging various official stores of Bandai Namco Group into one facility.
The specialty store "Gashapon Bandai Official Shop" for the capsule toy brand "Gashapon" will be opened inside the "CROSS" facility to feature additional 300 gashapon machines - making it the largest store yet!
From the Gundam series, the opening celebration will also include the franchise's latest gashapon series called Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE ACTION.
The new lineup started with the RX-78-2 Gundam featuring its full color, and mechanical clear colored version for 1,500 Yen each. The mini figures stands about 90mm (3.5 inch).
