To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Gunpla, Gundam is launching a nationwide collaboration with WHG Hotels titled “Operation Gundam R with WHG Hotels – Gundam Recycle Project in Summer Vacation.” Running from July 15 to August 31, 2025, this special event spans 32 WHG Hotels across Japan, bringing unique experiences for the hotel guests!
Project 1: Build with Ecopla — A Gift for Every Young Guest All elementary school students staying at any of the participating hotels will receive an exclusive Ecopla 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam as a special gift. These eco-friendly kits are made using recycled plastic and are designed to promote sustainability while giving young builders a hands-on Gunpla experience.
Project 2: Themed Gundam Collaboration Rooms
A second initiative introduces the Gunpla Collaboration Room GUNDAM Ver.3.0, available at select WHG Hotels in Ariake, Tamachi, and Fukuoka. These rooms feature interior décor themed after the MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.3.0, complete with dynamic visuals and exclusive Gunpla displays to immerse guests in the world of Mobile Suit Gundam.
