Idk bout you guys but this set has this stargazer feel to it. maybe its because of the gold lines across + that back ring.
ReplyDeletefitting for a planet name-based system
still looks pretty cool
ReplyDeleteThe Stargazer influence is undeniable, but if it means more of those fantastic holographic stickers- TAKE MY MONEY, BANDAI!
ReplyDeleteVoiture Lumiere! This really looks like it's taking a page out of Stargazer Gundam (or even Lunagazer Gundam). Judging by the ring motif, I'm gonna take a guess that this is the Saturn Armor. Saturnix Gundam, maybe? Either way, if it's taking after Stargazer and possibly using Voiture Lumiere, then I'm gonna guess this Armor in the PLANETS System was made for long-distance travel.
ReplyDeleteNepeight Stargazer?
ReplyDeleteLot of Stargazer vibes on this one. Suppose this is Saturn Six because rings?
ReplyDeleteIm liking the lunargazer gundam influence, but really bandai why the mint green color?
ReplyDeleteBet it's going to be Saturn because of that ring. Also, nice to see it being based on the Stargazer.
ReplyDeleteSo a Stargazer inspired armor? I love it!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I think this planet system is inspired by stargazer, is this a pluto armor? Haha who knows lets wait for the official name..
ReplyDeleteIs this gonna be Satsix armor?
ReplyDeleteOne thing I didn't realise until just then is that the separate weapon pack for this Armor is going to be the ring on the forearms and the backpack it connects to for that Stargazer-esque appearance. This is probably why they haven't revealed that set yet...
ReplyDeleteAfter finally coming around to bulkier mobile suit designs, thanks 00/7s and Age 3 variants, I have to say this looks absolutely stunning. Nothing wrong with some Stargazer at all. I like this even the color. Without the ring, it'd be a bit meh so I'm glad it's incorporated into the design.
ReplyDeleteIt's not. Check the first and last image, that's what's coming in the actual Armor set; while I can't read it, there's an extra notice in all the other shots where it presumably mentions that the weapons of this Armor are separate (like pretty much every other PLANETS System armor aside from Earthree). Said weapons are the things attached to the forearms, and the giant backpack unit they're connected to that forms that Stargazer-like ring.
DeleteThe backpack resembles the Seraphim Gundam (Seravee's backpack)
ReplyDeleteThere's just one more armor sets to be revealed now.
Mercuone - Diver
Veetwo - Support
Earthree - Default
Marsfour - Melee
Jupitive - Space
"Satursix" - Heavy
Uraven - Funnels?
"Nepteight" - This armor
"Plunine" - ???
Star gazer + Saturn = Starturn ?
ReplyDeletehave a nice ring to it.
i think it would look cooler with blue and those gold line is clear part green like the chest, kinda look like a beefy 00 gundam
ReplyDeleteor could go black and gold like banshee
I'm almost certain the colours are based on the name and colours of the planets they're taken after, with Neptune being named the "Ocean Planet" after its colouration.
DeleteIn this case, I imagine it's a bit redundant with there being two blue-coloured armours already, the Earth Armor and Mercury Armor, so they went with a lighter tone to contrast.
I think the mint color has anything to do with Shahriar as he's also Parviz's brother
