Twitter user @yoshi115t documented the disassembly process in detail and provided updates throughout. His most recent post, from May 4, 2024, showed the final inner framework components being removed, leaving no sign of the Gundam's former appearance.
Despite the departure of the RX-78F00, Gundam fans can still visit other statues across Japan, such as the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. TWC, is located outside Odaiba's DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, while the RX-93FF Nu Gundam may be found in front of Mitsui Shopping Park LalaPort Fukuoka. Furthermore, the life-size Freedom Gundam statue in Shanghai, China, continues to enthrall fans worldwide.

The removal of the RX-78F00 Gundam marks the end of an era, but the Gundam series' spirit lives on in the other sculptures, which continue to attract visitors and commemorate the franchise's distinct legacy.
