Gundam Series Pop-Up Corner Opens at Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo This June

Gundam fans heading to Ikebukuro this summer are about to get another dangerous stop for their wallets.

Bandai Namco has announced that a brand-new “Gundam Series Pop-Up Corner” will officially open inside Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo starting June 19, 2026. The special corner will bring together a huge lineup of Gundam-related items from across the Bandai Namco Group, giving fans one more reason to spend hours wandering Sunshine City.

The new pop-up follows the earlier Gundam Series Pop-Up Corner at Bandai Namco Cross Store MAGNET by SHIBUYA109, and this second location looks ready to continue the fun with shelves packed full of merchandise tied to the long-running mobile suit franchise.

For fans unfamiliar with the location, Bandai Namco Cross Store is designed as a place where visitors can “see,” “touch,” and “experience” entertainment from across Bandai Namco’s many brands. From figures and collectibles to games and event spaces, the store blends multiple franchises together into one giant fan playground.

That makes it a pretty fitting place for Gundam to move in.

While specific merchandise details have not yet been revealed, expectations are already high considering Bandai Namco’s massive Gundam catalog. GunPla, character goods, apparel, capsule toys, and limited event merchandise all feel like strong possibilities once the corner officially opens.

The Gundam Series Pop-Up Corner will be located on the third floor of the Sunshine City World Import Mart Building inside Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo in Ikebukuro. Business hours will run from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM beginning June 19.

If you happen to be visiting Tokyo this summer, this may end up becoming one of those “I’ll just take a quick look” stops that somehow turns into carrying multiple shopping bags back to the hotel.
