"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" has captivated audiences for more than 100 days, grossing more over 4.5 billion yen at the box office. This achievement surpasses the previous record for the highest box office earnings among all Gundam series films released in theaters. As of 102 days after its premiere, the film had 2.74 million spectators and a domestic revenue of 4,599,907,360 yen (29.8 million USD).
Hiro Shimono, who voices Orphee Lam Tao, will attend the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM Finale Stage Greeting" on May 18th at Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo to commemorate the film's success! Fans may look forward to hearing Shimono's thoughts and experiences while working on the film.
Furthermore, the film's showing in Japan will end on May 23rd at major theaters, but foreign screenings will be confirmed throughout the year.
Tickets for the finale stage greeting will be available through Ticket Pia in a pre-order lottery beginning at 11:00 AM on May 8th. Additionally, live viewing theaters throughout the country will be disclosed tonight at 18:00.
To improve the viewing experience, "special photo card sets" showcasing scenes from the film's culinary moments will be provided as the 16th weekly visitor present beginning May 10th.
