On October 4, 2015, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans made its debut, introducing audiences to a bold new chapter in the Gundam franchise. Now, ten years later, the series celebrates its milestone anniversary with a brand-new visual marking a decade of iron and blood.

The anniversary artwork shows Mikazuki Augus leading the way, while the rest of Tekkadan follows behind, with Urdr Hunt’s Wistario Afam walking in the distance. It’s a simple yet powerful image that captures what Iron-Blooded Orphans has always stood for: bonds, determination, and the cost of freedom.

When the series began in 2015, it immediately stood out for its raw story of survival and family. It gave us the Gundam Barbatos, unforgettable characters, that still sparks conversations years later.

Iron-Blooded Orphans didn’t shy away from heavy themes, and that’s why it left such a strong impression. Even a decade later, it remains one of the most talked-about Gundam shows.

Looking Ahead

Fans won’t have to wait long for new ways to revisit the Iron-Blooded Orphans era. Coming soon is a re-edit movie titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – Urðr Hunt: Path of the Little Challenger, which will open in Japanese theaters on October 31, 2025. This special edition compiles all 12 episodes originally released through the Iron-Blooded Orphans G mobile app, and it will also feature brand-new footage created specifically for the theatrical version.

On the collectibles side, Bandai has announced that the Metal Robot Spirits lineup will be welcoming the Gundam Marchosias, the formidable unit from Urðr Hunt. This marks the first time Marchosias joins the high-end figure line, giving fans another way to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

With both a big-screen re-edit and a premium figure release on the horizon, the 10th anniversary feels less like a conclusion and more like the start of a new chapter for Iron-Blooded Orphans.
