HJ Mechanics Celebrates Char's Counterattack 35th Year with an Archive Issue

The Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack anime film is celebrating its 35th in 2023! To commemorate the event, Hobby Japan's Mechanics magazine has announced a special edition of Char's Counterattack under their Mechanics Archive to be released on February 10th, 2023 for 2,640 Yen (physical copy only).

This HJ Mechanics issue is the second installment of the HG Mechanics Archive that covers not only guides to make professional level GunPla, but also takes a closer look through finished masterpieces of professional Japanese GunPla modelers featuring of course, model kits from the Char's Counterattack title.

Bandai Namco Group and other Gundam affiliated companies have been continuously releasing products and events related to the title to commemorate its 35th year. This include the erection of the RX-93ff nu Gundam in front of the Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Fukuoka, Japan along with the Gundam Side-F facility inside the building, which was themed after Char's Counterattack.
