Celebrating the Mobile Fighter G Gundam's 28th anniversary and the upcoming release of the Real Grade 1/144 God Gundam in August is the release of the clear color version of the Devil Gundam, exclusive at the Gundam Base Japan and Gundam Side-F stores starting August 13, 2022.

By replacing parts, it is also possible to transform the Devil Gundam into its mobile armor form.

    Why are they releasing this?
    It's not even a good kit in solid colour so what made them think a clear one would be desirable?
    I really want an HGUC (or HGFC if you wanna get technical) Devil/Dark Gundam.
    Bandai have released a big kit each year since 2018.
    2018 Narrative A-Packs, 2019 Penelope, 2020 Baund Doc and 2021 Xi.
    So we're due one for 2022, especially since there's only ONE release for HGUC this year, that being the HGAC Shenlong.

      Seriously! It's bizarre that they'd rerelease this old piece of crap! I'd love a modern Devil Gundam.
