The first ever LIMEX material GunPla will be released with the September issue of the Takarajimasha's men's fashion magazine, Smart! in collaboration with Bandai Hobby Division and Bandai Spirits - which will be released on July 25th, 2022 in Japan, nationwide for 1,090 Yen (taxes included).

LIMEX is a new material born in Japan that contains calcium carbonate (CaCO3), which is obtained from limestone, and mixed with small amount of polymeric resin as a binder.
By using limestone as the new main raw material instead of the petroleum-derived plastics that they were using in the past, it is now possible to reduce the ratio of petroleum-derived plastics in products to 50% or less on a weight basis.
