Bandai Announces Next Phase GunPla Project

Bandai Hobby Site twitter account announces the "Next Phase GunPla" project to commemorate the opening of the Gundam Docks at Tokyo Japan event at the Diver City Tokyo on November 20th 2017, which will be another section for The Gundam Base Tokyo, featuring exhibits of new announcements and teasers for GunPla.

Announcement lineups will be exhibited at the event before they get published in magazines and other media. Gundam models that are displayed will be in Bandai's "release consideration".

The contents of the exhibition are scheduled to be updated once a month, and the schedule for each update will be posted at the official Bandai Hobby site.

New GunPla announcements will also be posted on our website as usual.

  1. Let me guess, they're all P-Bandai? With an exception of one or two normal releases.

  6. I'm wondering about and wary of what Bandai means by "release consideration." What I'm fearing is that this'll take the shape of some kind of popularity contest and we'll just continue to get endless variations of the Astray series and the Unicorn Gundam.
