Bandai Spirits has yet unleashed another massive GunPla in the 1/144 scale lineup! The Destroy Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny will be coming to dominate the GunPla collection shelves in 2024!

The prototype was first seen at the 61st All Japan Model and Hobby Show.

This release celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series and the release of the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom film, releasing in January 2024.

The kit measures approximately 390 mm (approx. 15 inches) when assembled. Additionally, just like the anime, it includes a transformation gimmick.

As the name suggests, the GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam was built for one purpose: mass destruction. Its model number GFAS-X1 stands for “Gressorial Fortress Armament Strategic – EXperimental”. This giant mobile suit is equipped with a large number of weapons, allowing it to destroy large cities and other smaller mobile suits that attempt to block its path.

HG 1/144 Gundam Amazing Barbatos Lupus (Metallic Color)

Meijin Kawaguchi's Gundam Amazing Barbatos Lupus will be released in metallic colors and will be included in the limited edition release of the LINKL PLANET's CD/Blu-ray release of the Gundam Build Metaverse's ending theme "Days of Birth" on March 20th, 2024.

LINKL PLANET is a group that strives to become idols connecting plastic models and fans, as well as plastic models and the world (=planets), as plastic models connecting parts.

The Gundam Amazing Barbatos Lupus model was first seen in the key art of the anime miniseries Gundam Build Metaverse. It first debuted in the anime's pilot episode, which was displayed at the Gundam Metaverse Convention Hall.

This customized Gundam Barbatos Lupus GunPla features an all-red color scheme and carries a similar mace-like weapon. Its backpack equipment can be detached and transformed into a drone-like unit. It also carries a pair of claw-like equipment that can be used as close-range weapons.

This model is based on one of the five Zaku units that, per Danan Rashica's specifications, the Southern Cross Corps used following Cucuruz Doan's desertions. Because of its connection to the narrative of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island," this 2,750 Yen kit is an exceptional contribution to the Gundam universe.

One important model in this series, Danan's Unit, is specially equipped with a Zaku machine gun and a heat hawk. This set-up honors Danan's odd fighting style, which is known for its cunning and unconventional strategies, such the skillful application of the heat hawk. Danan's Unit is unique among collectors and lovers of mobile suits because of its tactical adaptability.

The MS-06GD Zaku High Mobility Type (Surface Type) is a high-efficiency land combat mobile suit. The attachment of thrusters to its legs and waist allows it to move at high speeds, primarily via hovering, which improves its mobility and combat efficiency on the ground.

The model is molded in brown and comes with camouflage water slide decals to match the concept of the "Brown Southern Cross," providing both visual appeal and tactical benefit in land-based operations. According to Yun Sanho's specifications, this one was based on one of the five Zaku units that the Southern Cross Corps deployed following Cucuruz Doan's desertions. One of the Zaku High Mobility Surface Type's most notable qualities is its increased ground fighting potential. It can move quickly and hover at very high speeds because to the additional rockets on its legs and waist. On the ground, its swiftness makes it a dangerous opponent.

In keeping with its moniker, "Brown Southern Cross," the model is primarily painted in brown camouflage; in this instance, camouflage decals are included with the kit to depict this portrayal. The Gundam AGEII Magnum SV. Version returns in Premium Bandai release in its (FX Plosion) colors from the Gundam Build Divers anime series. The kit has the same molds as the HG 1/144 Gundam AGE II Magnum SV ver. with support parts added for this specific variant.

The white and blue parts are cast in pearlescent and metallic colors respectively. Included in the kit is a display stand with parts to hold the F funnels as if they are floating around the Gundam.

From the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY Princess of the Sky" manga series, Load Astray Ω joins the High Grade Cosmic Era GunPla series with newly molded parts and surprises! This kit shared some of its molds with the regular released HGBD:R 1/144 Load Astray Double Rebake kit.

The kit comes with its unique sword "Load Longsword" that can be combined and divided to form another type of weapons. It features two long blades that can be equipped in both hands. It can also be converted into a whip type weapon when both blades are detached from its hilt and attached with the whip unit.

In addition, its backpack is used to hold its huge sword when not in use.

Originally announced in 2022 as a Gundam World Contrast event exclusive kit. The kit uses the same molds as the regular released MG 1/100 Aile Strike Gundam Ver. RM and is made of ECOPLA (Eco-Plastic) materials for its primary armor, with Neon Pink highlights on certain of its parts to honor the event.

Since the event began, several kits with the same motif have been revealed and released to continue Bandai Namco's Gundam Recycle Project.

In Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, the Aile Strike is a high mobility prototype mobile suit. Before being handed down to ace pilot Mu La Flaga, Kira Yamato served as its principal pilot.

Since it offers the most adaptability, the Aile Striker is the most often used Striker pack for the Strike. The Aile Striker's potent vernier thrusters enable the Strike Gundam to transform into an all-purpose combat mobile suit with more speed and maneuverability than its base configuration.

The Mobile Suit Gundam SEED title series celebrates its 20th anniversary with the release of the MS set in 1/144 GunPla series.

The set includes the RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam, RG 1/144 Justice Gundam, and HG 1/144 Providence Gundam. Each model is presented in metallic moldings, and comes complete with a triple action base to securely hold each GunPla in position after it is assembled.

Beginning a broadcast cooperation with the Gundam franchise, the television series was aired in Japan between 2002 and 2003 on the Tokyo Broadcasting System Television and MBS TV networks. The series led to the creation of three compilation movies, a manga, and light novels. A follow-up film, named Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom, is slated for release in 2024. A sequel series, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, followed in 2004. Products such as video games, CD soundtracks, and models have been released. In 2004, Gundam SEED started showing in the US and Canada after being granted a broadcast license by Bandai Entertainment for North America. Bandai also had the licenses for the original films and the sequel.

Many more Gundam models are available through the USA P-Bandai site to commemorate the Gundam Fan e-Festival event and campaign, which runs from November 23rd to December 10th, 2023.

The Gundam Base has announced on April 7th that it will release a special color version of the Gryph War set featuring the HGUC 1/144 models of Zeta Gundam [UC.0088] ver. which was released as a Premium Bandai kit in 2018, the HGUC 1/144 Gundam Mk-II AEUG REVIVE, and the HGUC 1/144 Hyaku Shiki REVIVE.

The set also include a triple action base and a water slide decal sheet specifically made for this Gundam Base exclusive kit.

The kit will be available at the official Gundam Base stores in Japan, nationwide while supplies last.

The anime Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam introduced the Gryps Conflict, also known as the Gryps War. Early in U.C. 0087, it began as a civil war within the Earth Federation between the anti-elitist Anti Earth Union Group (AEUG) and Karaba coalition, and the militaristic Titans counter-insurgency task force. Later, it expanded into a three-way war that also involved the return of Axis Zeon.

The AEUG's pyrrhic victory over the Titans during Operation Maelstrom and the Battle of Gryps brought the conflict to an early U.C. 0088 end, but it also severely weakened the AEUG, allowing Axis Zeon (later renamed Neo Zeon) to return to the Earth Sphere and sparking the First Neo Zeon War.

Premium Bandai has announced the release of a new addition to its High Grade Universal Century (HGUC) model kit lineup: the 1/144 scale ReGelgu in its iconic Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn colors, complete with Sleeves faction parts and equipment. This release marks a significant addition for Gundam model enthusiasts and fans of the Gundam Unicorn series, offering a unique take on the ReGelgu.

The ReGelgu, which is renowned for its menacing appearance in combat, is now available to GunPla builders in a special "Sleeves" specification, which alludes to the unique decorative style connected to the Sleeves faction in "Mobile Suit Gundam UC". In addition to being a color variation, this ReGelgu model features new modeling that faithfully captures the distinctive "sleeve" characteristics found on the forearms of the mobile suit. The color palette is another area where attention to detail is evident; the kit's molded components faithfully replicate the mobile suit's OVA-accurate color scheme.

Sharing the same molds with the 2008 regular retail released MG 1/100 Zaku Cannon, provided with moss, and mud color scheme to match its appearance during the assault of Torrington Base (Unicorn OVA).

On November 28, 2023, the Gundam Fan e-Festival has announced the release of its third batch of GunPla drops. The High Grade 1/144 Gundam Mk-II (TITANS) in this batch is set to join the 21st Century Real Type Ver. GunPla lineup and will first be available through Premium Bandai USA limited. The kit also has the "Gundam Base Limited" label, which has a release date of December 22nd, 2023 via the Gundam Base Japan stores for limited time.

The kit is recolored to depict a 21st Century Real style color version. Its main armor pieces are color in a rather darker blue along with silver-ish highlights for its joints and accessories. Decals that represents the 21st Century specification is also included. It is based on the same molds as the HGUC 1/144 RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (revive) that was published in 2015.
