Bandai is bringing back a nostalgic look with a modern touch as pre-orders have officially opened for the Gundam Retro Soft Vinyl Collection RX-78-2 Gundam. Inspired by classic soft vinyl toys from Japan's Showa era, this new collectible stands approximately 250mm tall and blends retro styling with updated details.

The collection is available in two versions. Fans can pick up the classic RX-78-2 Gundam in its iconic white-based color scheme or the RX-78-2 Gundam (Real Type Color), which features a military-inspired finish. The standard RX-78-2 Gundam version also includes a bonus mini soft vinyl figure, while the Real Type Color edition does not.
