Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Revealed Chronicle Features Gundam Devise Exia

The Gundam Figures Live presentation has revealed new entries and plans for the Gundam 00 figure line series. This includes the reveal of the Gundam Devise Exia, a new variant of Gundam Exia, which debuts in METAL BUILD and Gundam 00 series CG animated collaboration project titled Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Revealed Chronicle.

Director Mizushima mentioned that while the CG presentation will not be a full anime, it will still be helping to connect some missing links between the seasons 1 and 2 of the original anime series. It will also discuss and unveil the mysteries of the Double Drive system and will feature new mobile suit designs for the 4 main protagonists of the series.

The new Exia variant features never-before-seen equipment including its significant GN Devise Backpack that can be extended with arm units to hold its smaller weapons. Gundam Devise Exia also flexes its main weapon, Proto GN Luster Sword that can be housed in the center of the its backpack when not in use.

Gundam Devise Exia is set to release this October 2022 for 22,000 Yen.

The presentation also featured the Gundam Devise Exia being expanded with various Metal Build packs related to the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series, which includes Proto GN High Mega Launcher, Proto GN Twin Broad Blades, and Proto Shields!

  1. Hopefully Bandai will stop doing Metal Builds soon and focus on the core lines.

  3. so what im getting is that this is essentially an updated exia designed to go with the dozens of "Exia" accessories with its own new parts that scream "want to do the dark matter booster but it needs to be... not that and canon-ish". not really complaining as Exia is great but still

  4. There's a worldwide plastic shortage since COVID hit. This is one of the biggest reasons why Bandai is going more metal vs plastic. Bandai also needs another money stream after cutting off the rest of the world from new Bandai products....it sure as heck wasn't because of "piracy".
