In its initial announcement in September 2021, the statue is set to be completed by SPRING of 2022! Bandai Namco Amusement Co., Ltd. and Bandai Spirits Co., Ltd. also announced that the collaboration will also bring a theme park focused on Gundam related materials that is yet to be revealed.
In recent news, the statue will be based on the design of the Real Grade Unicorn Gundam with completely different style fin-funnel type equipment on its back that portray a more realistic version of a Nu Gundam. The project design is also being supervised by the Gundam creator himself, Mr. Yoshiyuki Tomino.
