  1. Here's hoping that they release a regular retail ver. with that puke gold.... I want a RG Phenex without the absurd price

    1. I think it's bit more of a bronze gold

    2. Unlikely, seeing how they completely left the puke gold out of the equation even for the HG Phenex Unicorn mode...

  2. Wouldn't mind the aweful gold on regular release I can paint 'em myself lol

  4. I would have been willing to purchase this even for the price if it were that disgusting puke gold color instead of this plated crap

  5. Since its first being released as Pbandai, theres no hope for any regular release with or without the paint.

  6. I want an RG Phenex.

But I also don't want to drop more than 11,600 on a small figure.

    Look at that price !!!!

  8. RG Banshee Norn's suggested MSRP is 4,320 yen. How is 1 additional shield, (maybe) 1 additional rifle, and the little stabilizer tails worth an additional 7280 yen? Or is this another lamp version, is that's what's going on?

    1. we can say it's banshee gold coating, so is it worth adding 7280 yen more for gold coating?

    2. You forgot the most important added cost, P-Bandai Exclusive. Also the Master Grade Phenex costs $116 market price and is a Gold Plated regular release. Narrative P-Bandai Exclusive being around $200.

So this price is more than fair to me for a stable and solid Phenex.

    3. Even if it's P-Bandai, P-Bandai kit's aren't that much more expensive than regular releases. I don't think these kits are actually gold-plated, they're painted with golden chrome paint which while it does add an extra cost, it should not add such a drastic extra cost to the kit. Even if this is the way they treat exclusive metallic coated kits (because non-exclusive metallic coated kits or ones that are more widely available are actually significantly cheaper), there's no way that price is justified.

    4. @HumaHumi No one in our (you and me) country would be crazy enough to buy this. Unless he's "sultan".

  9. How can Rg phenex be more expensive than the Mg?

  10. It was just a matter of time for Bandai to make this. At least now people can get the RG and or PG Unicorn series in its entirety since we all know the HG and MG versions are not that great. Well the PG version is missing the Perfectibility one, but I guess we can expect that to get a PG P-Bandai. Bandai loves Unicorn too much. I guess between RG and PG, RG is the best choice in terms of cost, quality, and completeness. Though that RG Perfectibility is super expensive since it's only available through that ¥65,000 BluRay boxset. Though I've seen it online for not quite that much, but still a lot for just the kit itself. Still I think it's better than if we got a PG version which I think would be like ¥150,000 or something crazy. I think Bandai should make a normal P-Bandai release for RG Unicorn Perfectibility. Maybe include water slides with it a P-Bandai release and make a new cover art for it?

    1. Dude, I'm pretty sure you're literally just trolling here. You do know about the troll who makes wishlists (like the one here) right?

  11. Still can't understand how can this be so friggin' expensive, when the price of the MG is a "mere" 12k yen...

    ReplyDelete
  12. Why can't people understand it is the P-Bandai price mark up. Not to mention this is a better gold plating than the Master Grade on a much smaller and complex scale.

    1. There's no price markup from p-bandai itself. It's the seller that always markup the price for services.

  13. The price is so high because this kit uses 3 types of gold plating (RG multi-tones) and gold plating itself is really expensive. Being p-bandai doesn't make the kit more expensive. P-bandai kits customers don't get retail discount as normal release, and have to pay shipping fee, that's all the difference. While the it was marked up overseas, p-bandai price is just normal for customers in Japan.

    1. How can you tell? Besides using the RG Unicorn and Banshee as references, the differences in the gold here are super SUPER subtle, nigh indistinguishable to the human eye

    2. If you look closely, you can see different of gold they use in this one.

    3. @Mystic2760 You can read that on the Japanese p-bandai website.
