    1. I suggest only one. Anyway, GM Quel head is a bonus which could be easily interchangeable. For Hazel head and other parts, it seems you have to chose between Hazel II early type and Hazel reserve unit while building it.

    2. It says that it contains 1 unit but can changed to 3 variations.

  2. I know it says that this is based on the MG GM Quel, but it really looks to be based on the existing MG Hazel Custom kit. The legs and arms really make that apparent.

    1. The Hazel is based on the MG Gundam MK II 2.0. The MG GM Quel is ANCIENT for MG standards, so the fact that they're including GM Quel parts here is pretty sweet.

    2. Exactly. This is a GM Quel kit based on the Gundam MK II 2.0, which is awesome. There are still some things that are from the GM Quel (the rifle is from the MH GM Quel kit).

This kit raises the possibility of a Hazel Owsla. We just need a Primrose at this point. I can't wait to put this one next to my Custom and Advanced Hazel kits.

    3. Best of luck man, I can afford most P-Bandai HG kits I want and the occasional P-Bandai MG, but I just lack the funds to collect them all.

    4. I have been on a bit of a Gunpla binge with quite of few of P-Bandai. This is a kit I am wanting more than anything right now. I really hope we get a Primrose though. I would like to make a Owsla.

  3. Sucks that the updated GM Quel is paywalled behind P-Bandai, but oh well been waiting 20 years for an update so I'll still buy 3-4 :O

    1. I would have preferred a proper 2.0 (as well as the GM Custom to release along side it) but beggars can't be choosers in this day and age.

    2. Well, I can't see them doing a GM Quel or Custom 2.0 before a GP01 2.0, but Bandai could surprise me. Overall, in spite of the complaining about the HG-ishness of the Hazel and the P-Bandai, this is about the best I think we can expect for the Quel.

    3. Yeah, I guess you're right. I just love the GM Custom and GM Quel (just a GM fanatic in general :P), but whenever I look at the MG kits (especially the recycled Alex feet) I cringe pretty hard. I'm just better off with my HGUC kits until better options come along.

  4. I would get this mainly to make the GM quel over the hazels

  5. You know, it's kind of a lie to say this is the "old MG Quel with updated parts" considering they replace the entire arms (including the shoulder), (i guess) leg and feet inner frame with those from the Hazel/Mk-II and some new part for the torso ad waist. With that much change, they should've called it "A new MG GM Quel kit with some parts of the old one"

    1. The entire kit is based off the Hazel. Even the torso. There are minute details that indicate it is not based on the Quel much at all.

  6. So this includes enough parts to make 1 and you're given a choice between 3 variations? They just want you to buy 3 sets of this MG.

    1. Getting one kit with interchangeable parts is still infinitely better than having to buy 3 seperate kits. Don't kid yourself.

    2. 火龍上升偉大的石頭力量龍捲風 a.k.a. Water Technique Six Two Nine, if your beloved Exia/00 Raiser/Qan[T] get this treatment, I'm sure you'll spam that it's Bandai's best decision ever!! :P
