  1. What a great way to start the Gundam Sentinel Project. I wonder how this compares with the Tief Sturmer and if Bandai upgraded their S Gundam for this release.

  2. Good lord. This monstrosity is actually happening

  3. the price(!) is over 200 dollars. I would have been more interested in a mk-V gundam or a FAZZ...

    1. A FAZZ is more than likely going to happen anyway. I would've been disappointed if they announced that. It seems like a no brainer since the ZZ Ver Ka happened so recently.

  4. Wow! Did not expect this ever for a regular MG release! Overall head/shoulders and general base proportions are finally faithful to the line art. If I am not mistaken, aside from possibly, the beam smartgun, the boosters and the bulk of the S Gundam look like are new molds. It is possible that they could release a 2.0 version of the S Gundam and its variants at some point. I'll keep my fingers crossed! Feel stupid now about buying my P-Bandai S Gundam Booster version for the same price as this Deep Striker MG. Aargh!

    1. From the looks of things so far, might not.

    2. It's a 30th anniversary special.
If they fvck this up,they are going straight down the shit hole.
      I doubt they'd use old EX-S

    3. They aren't using the same mold you can see because of the shoulder gimmick that wasn't in the original MG

  6. Bandai be like, "Why get a PG when you could a get a MG for the same price?"

  7. So this is reusing the very old MG EX-S? What a shame since they are reusing an old MG and charging PG price.

    1. Dude, you won't get price below that with this unit in MG.

  8. I was expecting the FAZZ due to the Ver. Ka ZZ Gundam, but I suppose this ugly ass Gundam will do.

I would have loved to have seen the Mk-V and then the Döven Wolf and eventually the Silver Bullet.

  9. People are saying this thing is too expensive at 20000 yen, but for an MG of that size, and considering the Neo Zeong is 25000 yen, as well as the Dendrobium at 28000 yen, I'd say the price on this thing is fair considering it's an MG.

    1. Fair? I would say this is the literal definition of robbing Bandai.

    2. I don't think people realize how big is this kit. Its kinda like a full armor gundam, except it is more excessive.

      Delete
    3. It may look big, but it isn't that big to be compared with dendrobium, it's just slight bigger than psycho zaku ver.Ka, so 20000 is a bit a rob

      Delete
    4. yeah it may not be as big as a dendrobium but the dendrobium is a high grade, not a master grade

    5. I've seen this on display on an expo and its huge but also a brick. I would rather get a PG Exia.

      Delete
  10. Well this is most definitely a brick. Will be a great piece to display though!

  12. This fucking fantastic I don't understand how any of you can be disappointed by this at all even by price which is understandable considering outside of p bandai bandai makes you pay for the amount of plastic the sazabi verka for example and this thing is gonna be twice that size it makes sense to charge about twice that much

  13. what bandai release ppls bitch about it
what bandai didnt release ppls still bitch about it

  14. everyone is complaining about the price but this thing is massive, it completely covers a base used for pg kits, and another complaint is that it uses the frame for the old ex-s which from the images seems false, and even if it does it would be a small portion because almost everything is different

    1. It didn't use a base for PG kits, its the original base for MG Ex-S. The base was made for the MG Ex-S then PG Strike Freedom and HGUC Neo Zeong use it.
