Where can I find those old B-Club High Detail Manipulator sets nowadays? I'm assuming that's what the modeler used here on this Zaku F2, but I could be mistaken. Amazon and eBay don't have squat (except for some SEED junk, from what I've been able to find) and Hobby Search was cleared out ages ago.
Is there a comparable line of well-detailed upgrade hands? There's no other product that I'm aware of that even rivals the sculpt quality and perfect scaling of the B-Club HDM line. And those Builder Parts HD hand sets just look goofy and blocky to me.
I'm specifically looking for sets like HDM-50 or HDM-216 for the HGUC Zaku II and Zaku F2, respectively. Those or any other 1/144 Zeon hand set would work well for just about every HG Zeon kit out there, really. Some nice generic 1/144 E.F.F. hands would be nice, too.
The yellow backpack won me over. The kit was already nicely detailed, the color palette is easy on the eyes without being unnoticeable, the detail parts give it more character! But that tone of yellow on the backpack just works! Awesome!
