The 5th episode of Mobile Suit Gundam The ORIGIN will premiere in 35 theaters in Japan on September 2, 2017. Tickets are now available for pre-orders until supplies last before the opening date. The screening will be extended to four weeks instead of two like the previous episodes had.
Gundam The ORIGIN will end its OVA series in its 6th episode, titled "Rise of the Red Comet," that will be screening in 2018.
The arc will cover the Clash at Loum, which took place in early days before the events in the original 0079 Gundam anime. The battle that came after the Operation British space colony drop and other events that almost brought humanity into extinction. Char Aznable also became the famous legendary ace "Red Comet" during this war.
