Bandai Namco Games announced on Monday that it will be partnering with Japan's Yahoo! Games to release its new SD Gundam Operations browser-based card battling game. The game began its public "platinum user test" on the same day, which is currently allowing 3,000 users a chance to play the game prior to its official launch until June 24. Players who are able to defeat certain enemies during the test will receive special cards for later use.

In the game, players use cards of super-deformed (SD) mobile suits and pilots from Gundam series including Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, G Gundam, Gundam 00, and others to battle enemies and bosses.

Bandai Namco Games will also launch the free-to-play Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation for consoles in late July.
