Neo Zeon’s Hamma Hamma Finally Joins the HG Lineup for Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ’s 40th Anniversary
One of the more unusual mobile suits from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, the Hamma Hamma was developed as a prototype built around the Quasi-Psycommu system. Its most recognizable feature is easily its remote-controlled claw hands.
Each arm is equipped with a three-barrel beam gun and can detach from the main body using wires, allowing the Hamma Hamma to attack targets across a wide area.
The new HG kit leans heavily into that feature. It includes three interchangeable wired arm units, along with soft material and lead wires that allow the mobile suit to recreate its all-range attacks in display form.
The kit also includes the Hamma Hamma's shield, which carries its own built-in power generator and additional weaponry.
The Hamma Hamma has always been one of those mobile suits that looked like it would be ridiculously fun to pose if Bandai gave it the right treatment. Judging by those extended wired arms, they absolutely understood the assignment.
