New York street fashion label KITH is finally bringing their Kith for GUNPLA collaboration to Japan. This special release celebrates the opening of the Kith Japan official online store, giving Japanese fans their first opportunity to purchase the collaboration through an official domestic channel.
This drop follows the collaboration’s initial launch in North America last year.
The Kith for GUNPLA project first appeared in the United States as part of KITH’s annual holiday lineup. The brand introduced two Master Grade kits redesigned with its signature streetwear sensibility. The unique color direction, premium packaging, and crossover appeal made the kits an instant hit.
With the opening of the Kith Japan Online Store, the brand is now offering these models domestically for the first time. This Japan exclusive lottery release ensures that local fans can access the collaboration without relying on overseas drops or resale markets.
Two iconic Master Grade kits from Mobile Suit Gundam have been reimagined through KITH’s design language.
Lineup
- MG 1/100 RX 78 2 Gundam Ver. 2.0
- MG 1/100 Wing Gundam
Each model features:
- A bold blue to orange gradient inspired by New York City
- Custom colored weapons including the beam rifle, shield, and hyper bazooka
- Exclusive Tetoron stickers with the Kith logo for a sleek, streetwear inspired finish
- A special Kith for GUNPLA collector box created specifically for this collaboration
The result is a fusion of Gundam heritage and modern fashion aesthetics that feels fresh, collectible, and unmistakably KITH.
