In celebration of the 45th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, Onkyo has announced an electrifying collaboration that brings the essence of the legendary anime directly to your ears. The brand-new, completely wireless earphones "CP-TWS01E" are dropping in two collector-worthy designs: Amuro Ray of the Earth Federation and Char Aznable of the Principality of Zeon!

Starting at 15:00 JST on Friday, April 11, 2025, these two exclusive models will be available for pre-order on the ONKYO DIRECT online store and at the ONKYO DIRECT ANIME STORE (OtoAni 1st Store) in Akihabara, Tokyo. Each unit is priced at 20,000 yen (tax and shipping included) and comes fully loaded with premium specs and special anime flair.
The CP-TWS01E collaboration models come with newly recorded voice lines from the original cast:
- Amuro Ray (CV: Toru Furuya)
- Char Aznable (CV: Shuichi Ikeda)
You’ll hear 13 custom voice prompts, including phrases for power on/off, pairing, and tap commands—bringing every moment to life with the unmistakable tones of two of Gundam’s most iconic pilots.

Each model reflects the faction it represents:
- Earth Federation Forces (Amuro Ray) – Featuring the iconic Federation emblem and Amuro’s personal markings.
- Principality of Zeon Forces (Char Aznable) – Designed with Zeon insignia and Char’s recognizable branding in gold and red hues.
Even the charging case is customized, proudly displaying the visual motif of each faction right on top.
