Gundam Metaverse Launches in Japan and USA for Limited Time in October, Exclusive GunPla Lineup Announced!

Bandai Namco has officially announced that their Gundam Metaverse project will be launching for limited time in Japan and USA starting October 6th to 17th, 2023. A pre-registration is also on going through the Gundam Metaverse official website. A Bandai Namco ID is required to register.

When it opens, there will be a 3D space where you can immerse yourself in the world of Gundam, an EC (e-comm) store where you can buy 6 types of limited edition Gunpla for events (see details below), and a room in where you can enjoy digital live performances by artists related to Gundam works. The main content will be the “UGC Museum” where you can enjoy user-made Gunpla photos, scanned CGs, and videos featuring custom Gunpla skills.

GUNDAM METAVERSE

A place where GUNDAM fans from around the world can gather, communicate,

and share experiences. The GUNDAM METAVERSE is a project where Bandai

Namco and fans cooperate in managing and developing a community with the

aim of creating future GUNDAM projects.

Additionally, there will be access to “Gunpla Scan,” a program jointly developed by Bandai Namco Group and Sony Group, and “Mellow,” an artificial intelligence character that helps users communicate with each other for testing. There will also be entertainment content, such as diorama content with exclusive effects from digital technology.

Furthermore, the very first event inside the Metaverse " GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE Digital" will also be held during the limited launch! A series of additional experience including an advance streaming of the Gundam Build Metaverse mini series will be accessible during the time period.
