Bandai Spirits has announced that they will be releasing a real type color version of the MG 1/100 Freedom Gundam and MG 1/100 Justice Gundam to celebrate the upcoming release of the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom film in 2024.

Bandai Namco officially announces that both the MG 1/100 Freedom Gundam Ver. 2.0 (Real Type Color) as well as the MG 1/100 Justice Gundam (Real Type Color) will be available for a limited time in mid-October via the Premium Bandai and Gundam Metaverse EC Store as limited GunPla “Gundam NEXT Future Digital” models. Kunio Okawara's version of Freedom Gundam (Real Type Color) features a green color scheme with matching real type decals, while the Justice Gundam features a blue color scheme with matching real type decals.

  1. Not a fan of the colors for Freedom, but that Justice is looking pretty slick in blue

  2. Now, THESE are the types of kits that should be P-Bandai. But with what they've been doing lately, you never know.

If by some chance these end up being retail releases, I'm not gonna lie: I'll be more than just a little annoyed.

  3. I would be pretty happy if the guns on the wings were like the art. I didn't really like the super pointy, multi fin, extendo cannon.

  4. A part of me wonders why Bandai doesn't make Real Type colors for all the other main Gundams and mobile suits, like a Real Type Color Gundam Exia or God Gundam. I understand that the Freedom and Justice Gundams are getting special treatment because it's Gundam Seed's anniversary, but I'd like to see it for the other Gundams.

  5. I change my earlier statement. The Freedom looks much better in physical form and the Justice doesn't look as good now.
