Revealed in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury episode 21 is a GUND-Bit type unmanned mobile suit designed for use with the Gundam Aerial Rebuild and a data storm network.

Its purpose is to provide combat assistance to the Gundam Aerial, by enhancing its defense mechanism to counter enemy attacks, and to share tactical information. Individual Gundnodes supports the Gundam Aerial's data storm expansion.
Just like the other GUND-Bit type mobile suits, the Gundnodes are also provided with shell units, installed on its head and chest armor, which emit light when activated.
