GunPla Lineup June 2023

The GunPla releases for June 2023 surely has great things to offer! This include the two new entries to the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime series GunPla collection and tons of reissues from Premium Bandai which include the FINAL BATTLE versions of the Master Grade 1/100 Psycho Zaku and Master Grade 1/100 Full Armor Gundam [Thunderbolt ver.].

June also releases the HG 1/144 Moroccan Front GM from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island film, and the two color versions of the Aqua Hambrabi II from the AOZ GunPla collection series.

HG 1/144 EDM-GB Gundvölva

Dawn of Fold's EDM-GB Gundvölva appears in the high grade Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime series in completely new molds. The Gundvölva is an unmanned mobile suit with GUND format built into the cockpit controlled by the Gundam Lfrith Ur, and Gundam Lfrith Thorn.

The kit feature ball joints on its neck and waist parts, and are designed with a space to accommodate forward and backward tilting postures. Its Beam saber grip and beam rifle magazine can be stored behind its shield.

HG 1/144 Demi Barding

As seen in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime series, Demi Barding is coming to the High Grade GunPla series! The Demi Barding is equipped with a large backpack unit packed with unique features.

Its leg mount thrusters feature a holster gimmick for their beam sabers. It can also be moved in different directions to show some driving points. Its main weapon is a long-beam rifle, which also has a movable auxiliary grip so it can be equipped with both hands if needed.

The kit was originally slated for a May 2023 release and was pushed back to June 2023 for various reasons.

P-Bandai: HG 1/144 RGM-79 GM [Moroccan Front]

Pre-orders have opened for the HG 1/144 GM (Morrocan Front), which features both early type and shoulder cannons, molded in gray and orange color scheme.

The kit joins the Mobile Suit Discovery [MSD] Gunpla series. 

A prototype model of RGM-79 GM with shoulder cannon equipped from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island film was on display at the Gundam Next Future -TOKYO BASE- exhibition on September 29th, 2022, suggesting that the kit was in planninh stage.

The color scheme was also based on its orange color scheme that was seen during the conflict in Casablanca, Morocco, in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island film.

The Gundam F90 A-Z project continues its lineup with the release of the Mission pack P Type (Plunge Type) via Premium Bandai.

The kit features newly molded accessories and expansion parts for the sold separately MG 1/100 Gundam F90. It gives the Gundam F90 the ability to transform itself between MS and MA mode or waverider form.

The Plunge mission equipment type is designed to protect the Gundam F90's armor when reentering the Earth's atmosphere and to give it a great boost in high mobility aerial combat.

A.O.Z. RE-BOOT takes us under the water combat with this new expansion!

Premium Bandai continues the hype for the AOZ GunPla lineup with the announcement of a brand new G-Part system for HGUC 1/144 Barzam (AOZ REBOOT Ver.) and HG 1/144 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] Psycho Blade Custom (AOZ RE-BOOT version) to produce Aqua Barzam, and Aqua Woundwort respectively.

The kit is packed with newly molded parts and matching parts that are compatible with most HGUC AOZ model kit series to restore their wear condition.

Barzam has never looked so buffed with this new underwater equipment!

Premium Bandai announces the release of the latest entry in the AOZ RE-BOOT series. This time the Aqua Hambrabi G-Parts find its way into the High Grade Universal Century GunPla line to be paired with the separately sold HGUC 1/144 Barzam (AOZ RE-BOOT version).

A set of equipment unique to this expansion set are also included in the kit. The kit also comes with a newly molded drum frame which forms the core of the Aqua Hambrabi II to accommodate wider range of motion and posing style when combined with compatible mobile suits.

The Maneuver Striker pack features multiple forms depending on Eclipse Gundam combat mode. This pack can also be attached while Eclipse Gundam is in its Mobile Armor (MA) form, and fighter form.

Celebrating Mobile Suit Gundam Wing's 25th anniversary, Bandai Spirits will be doing a reissue of all Premium Bandai Master Grade Gundam Wing GunPla series.

This kit shares the same molds with the regular released Shenlong Gundam with entirely new molded parts for the dragon fang equipment which also includes an extendable arm unit. The kit is also completed with its Twin Beam Trident that is also an extended version of its regular released MG counterpart.

The kit also comes with water slide decals for detailing.

Premium Bandai announces the release of the Gundam Sandrock Custom EW version in the Master Grade line! This kit shares its forms with the regular retail released GunPla kit, MG 1/100 Sandrock EW, which is also featured in a different color scheme.

This kit is part of the Premium Bandai exclusive Endless Waltz release of the Gundam Sandrock, featuring its original weapons and armor, including a pair of heat shotels, a beam machine gun, a shield, and a diffusing cloak armor which is molded exclusively for this kit.

Premium Bandai exclusive models announces that they will be opening pre-orders for the High Grade Cosmic Era 1/144 kit which comes with a backpack unit called the Doppelhorn to be used mainly for HGCE 1/144 Dagger L and a Multi-Striker pack for the HGCE 1/144 Windam!

The kit also comes with a water slide decal sheet to detail each expansion equipment packs.

A new Barzam variant appears in the AOZ Re-Boot model kit lineup! This red Barzam "ReZeon" offers lots of changes to its two other HGUC variant kits. This kit shares some of its molds fron the original HGUC Barzam kit combined with the AOZ Re-Boot version with different and newly molded part for its crotch part.

This variant also comes with an entirely new gimmick for its leg parts, where it can deploy hover units to give Barzam better mobility.

Premium Bandai continues their collaboration with the AOZ model kit series by releasing the Barzam's AOZ Re-Boot version! This kit shares some of its molds to the regular retail release version of its variant, Barzam. The AOZ Re-Boot version comes with at least 80% newly molded parts which includes its modified shoulders, chest, and leg part units and more to represent this variation.

Adding this kit to the AOZ lineup makes the kit compatible to most of AOZ model kit expansion units that were already released.

The kit is also completed with its original weapons and equipment, that includes a beam rifle, two beam sabers, and a vulcan pod.

Premium Bandai announces the release of the Gundam F90 in August for its initial release! The kit has an entirely new mold that offers great range of articulation and quality! The kit also has good selections of extension parts that will be released as Premium Bandai kits as well.

Bandai Spirits and Premium Bandai will be announcing more extension parts for this kit as they progress with the Gundam F90 A to Z project. The project aims to deliver mission packs A through Z for the Gundam F90! The mission pack units will be sold separately as expansion parts in Premium Bandai official webshop.

This kit comes with newly molded parts for the specific variant, including its unique weapon and other equipment including its machine gun, and 4 x rocket-propelled grenade installed on its skirt armors.

Premium Bandai has announced a reissue of the RG x HG 1/144 accessory expansion set for the RG 1/144 Gundam Mk-II AEUG to make its variant RX-178+FXA-05D Super Gundam. The Flying Armor support vehicle, which is specially made for the Gundam Mk-II is also included!

To make it more aesthetically compatible with the Real Grade GunPla series, both of the expansion kits are provided with an exclusive "realistic decals" sheet.

Premium Bandai celebrates the Mobile Suit Gundam: Thunderbolt's 3-episode TV version's last episode on February 26th, 2023 via 28 MBS/TBS station with the announcement of a reissue of the "Final Battle" specifications of the Master Grade 1/100 Psycho Zaku Ver. Ka!

The kit features a set of effect and "broken state" expansion parts to portray the events of the final battle between IO and Daryl. A sheet of decals providing some extended effect for the kit is also provided in the kit.

The Gundam Base Japan has announced that they are going to release an HGUC 1/144 GM set which include the RGM-79 GM, RMS-179 GM II, and RGM-86R GM III to commemorate the first 3 Gundam anime franchises.

The kit will be available in all Gundam Base Japan retail stores from June 10th, 2023 for 4,730 Yen while supplies last.

As revealed in the 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show on May 10th, the kit will be packed with a water slide decal sheet exclusive for the set.

HGUC 1/144 Moon Gundam [Long Rifle Equipment]

The HG Moon Gundam receives its Gundam Base Limited Kit with additional Long Rifle Equipment, first released as a separate Gundam Ace Magazine Add-on Kit as a gift.

Mobile Suit Moon Gundam is a manga written by Harutoshi Fukui and illustrated by Takayuki Kosai. It is published in Kadokawa's Gundam Ace monthly magazine.

The kit also comes complete with an Action Base, 8 Psycho Plates, Beam Tomahawk, a pair of Butterfly Edges, a Beam Rifle and of course the exclusive Long Rifle. It also comes equipped with several extra hands to accommodate any of the available accessories.
