Celebrating Gundam SEED Destiny's 16th anniversary in 2020 surely has a lot of kit releases! Windam will be making its way to the High Grade Cosmic Era series as teased on the NEXT PHASE GUNPLA promo image. The kit offers an entirely new mold and color separation for the model.
A sure surprise for all Windam fans that they are finally getting a kit sooner than imagined. The kit is equipped with a beam rifle, a shield, and a jet striker.
It can be linked with various striker packs that reproduce the same standard equipment replacement system. The Jet Striker pack can be folded in various ways depending on its mode.
This kit has the FINE BUILD joint structure system for easier build when building multiple units of the same GunPla. This system was first seen in the HGAC Leo in celebration of GunPla evolution project phase 4.

ReplyDeleteNgl, it's looking like they're single jointed. However they might have designed it to be a simple army-builder kit like the Leo, Maganac, or Death Army kits, but with more accessories.

ReplyDeleteBeen waiting for this for over a decade! I never understood why the both the Windam and Strike Dagger were overlooked in the model department. The HG line has no EA grunts.

Yeah I am a great fan of the Strike Gundam-line as I love Striker Packs.

Here's hoping! I know they're old but I'd love it if they made it compatible with the old striker packs even if it can't mount the shoulder equipment.

ReplyDeleteI'm super excited for this, my love of GM-types knows no bounds, but I'm really worried about color separation. The quick build types they've released so far have been great in that regard but they've been simple designs. Oh, and no Stiletto, Wurger pod, or fuel tank in the pictures we've seen so we're probably not getting all the Windam's equipment but I'm used to that in High Grades by now.
