New HG 1/144 Gundam Witch from Mercury Kit Coming in July

The Hobby Next Phase Spring 2023 has revealed some great GunPla news surprise to fans, including the new RG Gundam Epyon, FM 1/100 Forbidden Gundam, and SDCS Banshee in the lineup.

The kit is temporarily named: Mobile Suit Gundam Witch of Mercury New Product B

With all those announcements, the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury celebrates the debut of its second season in April 2023 with a teaser page of a "secret" GunPla in the series with a planned release in July 2023 and priced at 2200 yen.

No confirmation just yet, but this should be the Gundam Calibarn that was revealed in the anime's 22nd episode.

  1. Better be that suit with the goofy flying laser bat'leth from the s2 promo.

  2. This must be the Darilbalde's new weapon version.

    1. I don't think they will release the new Darilbalde as a whole kit. I think it will be a weapon pack set. The only reason they made the Zowort Heavy and the other alternate grunts is because the design called for entirely different colour schemes, but the new Darilbalde is practically unchanged in that sense. This is the case I hope, I really do not want to buy another full priced kit just for some new parts haha.

    2. This does feel like it's mirroring what happened with the aerial rebuild. I could see it being the upgraded darilbalde

    3. Nah, it will mirror the og aerial, with the backpack sold separately. The new kit obviously will be Caliban

  3. Caliban (Calibarn? Caliburn?) looks cool, looking forward to its kit.

  4. I still can't get over the fact that the Gundam Calibarn has a bloody broomstick booster cannon.
