As announced earlier this year, the Gundam Factory Yokohama along with the life-sized moving Gundam is going to extend its stay until March 31st, 2023! This is to thank all the enthusiasts who supported the moving Gundam project and its on going event.

The event extension also announces a long-term maintenance that will be happening starting May 9th until July 15th, 2022. The facility will be closed to public and will not operate during the maintenance period.
The exclusive facility started in October 2020, celebrating the erection of the moving RX-78F00 Gundam that is being exhibited within the vicinity. The Gundam Factory Yokohama also holds exclusive shops and event lounge related to the moving Gundam.
The moving Gundam is a collaborative project of Japanese researchers and engineers to make a life-sized, 18-meter Gundam walk in real life! This project has finally came to life and success over the past few years since the project was first announced in 2014 during the "GUNDAM GLOBAL CHALLENGE".
