The Gundam Factory Yokohama Extends for Another Year!

It has been decided that the Gundam Factory Yokohama facility with the life-sized moving RX-78F00 Gundam will be extending its stay for another year! Yes, that means that their contract will be on going until March 31, 2023 - more chance for those who has not yet been in just like me.

The extension of the period is to thank all the enthusiastic requests from the domestic and foreign Gundam fans who could not come to the venue to obvious reasons. In addition to this extension, the maintenance holiday period of 2 months will be set from the middle of May, and will return in mid July of 2022.

Details about the upcoming maintenance is set to be announced at the Gundam Factory Yokohama's official website as soon as confirmations are set.

From February 23, 2022, the articulated "BAYSIDE BLUE" bus connecting the tourist facilities in the bay area will be collaborating with the GFY by wrapping their busses with the moving Gundam artwork shown in the images below.
