  1. seems y'all forgot about 0080, war in the pocket when you say first female hero

    1. Chris is firmly in the support role in that one, the protagonist is Bernie unless you think piloting a Gundam automatically makes you the lead. I've been waiting for a proper female lead for ages, was disappointed that AGE went with three dudes.

    2. She's more like a side character than a main character, the main focus of 0080 was the kid Al and the pilot of the Zaku Bernie.

    3. Probably just parroting the fanbase really. When this was first announced there were lots of people on Reddit and elsewhere saying how they were excited cause they haven't had one.

    4. she piloted the gundam, but Chris wasn't the main character

    5. She’s probably discounted as a “secondary” character rather than a primary one. Note the article didn’t claim first female Gundam pilot.

    6. Dead wrong, first female gundam pilot squarely belongs to Sayla, even if she was using it once and was pretty bad at it and one time use she still holds the title of first female gundam pilot.

    7. She's the first main protagonist piloting Gundam, not the first female Gundam pilot.

  2. Very interesting style and proportions, seems it's got IBO-style feet with strong ankle pivot, and a 30MM-style gun haha

  3. I'm getting some AGE/Legilis vibes from this one. I think it's mostly down to the vertical strakes on the legs/backpack.

  4. Like I said in the post about Lfrith: I'm really liking the designs here.

I've got my eye on this series.

  5. The proportions of this MS make it look like its ready to run in a track race..

  6. It's Raiser, Legilis, Turn A, ang G-self combined with a psycoframe.

  7. Cool design. Main gundam protagonist colors sucks as usual though.

  8. These MS designs are pretty okay but what's up with the nerf blaster looking weapons? They're kinda corny imo.

  9. That shield looks sus, almost looks like it can transform into a flight backpack.

  10. Neither the Girl or the Gundam impress me, so I hope the story is good. She looks more like a Miyazaki character to me than a Gundam gal, but we'll wait and see. Gundam gals that I have liked are Sayla, Emma, Four, Chris, Nina, Aina, Merida and grown-up Mineva (from Unicorn).

  11. All I want to know is when is the Master Grade coming? I like the influx of new Gundam merch in general but I think we are still lacking in MG releases... Dunno why tho, they seem to be backordered all the time so I'm guessing it's not the lack of sales...

  13. well now we know both the shield's gimmick and the reason for all the hardpoints, neat

the beam effect for the gun also looks pretty cool
