Just recently, Bandai Spirits announces that it will be releasing the Full Mechanics 1/100 scale version of the Freedom Gundam Ver. GCP to celebrate the launch of the 1/1 scale Freedom Gundam in Shanghai, China. The kit will be available first at the official Bandai Spirits China flagship for approximately 339 Chinese Yuan or 5,600 Yen from April 20th 2021 while supplies last, and will then be shipped in July 2021.
The kit is an entirely new mold and representation of the Freedom Gundam, basing the kit's blue print to its 1/1 scale counterpart - this kit also features realistic detailing and panel lining that compares to its Real Grade version.
This kit also comes with a special base support set to provide balance and stability to its heavy backpack when in standing position. The base is also used to replicate how it stands in front of the Mitsui Shipping Park LaLaport in Jinqiao, Shanghai, China.
