HGBD:R 1/144 Alus Earthree Gundam - Release Info

HGBD:R 1/144 Alus Earthree Gundam
Release Date: April 2020
Price: 1,650 Yen

A new "core" Gundam appears in dark color scheme. This kit will be released along with the airing of the Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise second season in April. The mysterious dark Gundam can also be attached with extended armor system, just like Hiroto's Core Gundam.

The sharp and pointy-edged armor features suggests a space combat suit. But the details and origins of the kit is still unknown, more info will be added once the second season nears the airing date.

  1. Ooh, this thing looks funky.
It reminds me of a Vagan MS from AGE.
Also there's no additional arm parts like Hiroto's Core Gundam armor sets so full compatibility might be an issue.

    1. luckily latest pictures show that these are compatible with each other. No idea though if this is related to the plot or something..

  2. Omg is this a reference to how death army also have a gundam form(like Death Master from G gundam)? And that color, it reminds me so much of Titans lol

  3. I mean like, considering that Eldora is a real planet and that there are real deaths and lifes and stuff, it makes sense for the enemy to make something inspired by a weapon tgat has repeatedly killed its robots and stuff.

  4. The face reminds me of Tobi from Naruto series.

  5. OPEN HANDS!!! Even Core Gundam didn't have that!

  6. I kind of like this more than the core gundam.

  7. Just a personal gripe, but why is EVERYTHING these days called a GUNDAM that looks nothing like a traditional Gundam should look? Sorry, old guy here...

    1. Then you'd complain about everything looking the same.

    2. Because GUNDAM itself are about definition, not look.

    3. Gundam is an anime series and an idea. It is NOT just one mobile suit. If that is your mindset, then man you are freaking stuck in your old ways.

    4. This is a gundam because it's a variant of another kit that's also a gundam, with that other kit looking closer to a traditional gundam.

    5. 'Gundam' is a loose term that is identified differently in each series, sometimes it's based on what it's made from, other times it's the OS. Ultimately it just refers to a mobile suit that has a v-fin.

    6. while i can see were you guys are coming from almost none of you are correct only getting half correct at best.

remember the name of the series BUILD DIVERS and what are they promoting? GUNPLA and what are most of any suits in the series based of off? GUNDAMs. literally the only MSs in these gunpla based series that arent Gundams are things that aren't DIRECTLY based off of existing Gundams an even new MSs are designed with common Gundam motifs if they got the name.

there is nothing deep to look into, its about the looks, its about the marketing, its a promotion for gunpla that bases most of its core designs on the shit 90% of people want to see, the gundams. i am surprised only 'Unknown' laid out the truth

    7. It doesn't even have to have a v-fin; the EZ-8 is a good example. Hell, technically the Rick Dias is the Gamma Gundam.

    8. @Vahne true but you do realize that in the series it comes from nobody calls/considers it a Gundam. In fact that's part of the joke with the 'Build GAMMA Gundam', it's essentially playing of the Dias' background by giving it a redesign befitting a Gundam. The Ez8 is still a customized ground gundam.

    9. @GiroXP

yeah but oldgundam00 ask why EVERYTHING these day called gundam not resemble traditional gundam at all, not just this alus gundam.

    10. Rick Dias was codenamed Gamma Gundam though, so the traditional Gundam look was invalid after the sequel.

And in story, this makes sense as the alien probably just copied the Earthree Gundam without knowledge of where the term Gundam came from.

  8. I have a feeling this will stand a bit taller then the core gundam and the planet armor modes

  9. Ok final boss enemy gundam detected... stole data from hiroto gunpla and creating its own kit...

  10. I'd love to see a Marsfour and Veetwo variant of this. This gives me an imagination on what would happen if Earthree and the Core Gundam got consumed by ELS.

  11. This is actually a really good original design for this season. Definitely buying this one.

  12. Never been a fan of the stiletto look in Gundam but this looks pretty nice otherwise. Enjoy, HG builders.

  13. And so the name is confirmed! Alus Earthree Gundam. Wonder if that means the corresponding Core Gundam is "Alus Core Gundam"? Well, either way, I think Bandai realised that they hit a goldmine with the PLANETS System gimmick, so I'm looking forward to seeing even more stuff!

    1. I've got a feeling that its planet system will be called alus gundam system since its armour is based of gundam eg the nu gundam armour

    2. Disregard what I said earlier; it appears that I completely missed the separate page on the GBD website that shows the Alus Core Gundam on its own. Wonder what the corresponding model number will be, though... Same goes for Core Gundam Rize and Core Gundam II.

  14. Damn I just realised that the head has to be swapped and it's not some helmet gimmick from the core mode to the earth three mode and imo that kinda sucks

    1. It'll mess up the clear face dome because it requires a slot/peg to hold the "V-fin" (unless if they made an extra clear face dome).

The head gimmick was not as simple as changing your V-fin like in Core Gundam. There are parts like the back of the head and the top of the head that should be connected into the round head. But if you make any ports on the round head to accommodate said parts, it will ruin the roundness of the head.

    2. With how warped the heads are, guess it makes sense now that you point it out... Though the Core Gundam's gimmick was simpler than that - it was a v-fin antenna attachment, not a helmet. Either way, guess that means the Alus armors will contain their own heads, potentially...
