Dengeki Hobby releases some detailed open box build images of the Master Grade Gundam Barbatos. The new images showcases its detailing, color separation, and great articulation to tease fans before its official release on December 21st!
The design of this kit aims to a more proportional presentation of the Gundam Barbatos. Giving the kit a little more edge and sharpness to each armor pieces produces a fantastic looking mobile suit! The kit is also packed with Gundam Barbatos' armaments that includes a long sword, a 300mm Smoothbore Gun(60mm Machine Gun), and of course a mace for its signature weapon.
The kit is also provided with "hydraulic pistons" that are molded separately, and were made to help give the kit a boost in its articulation range. Each pistons are colored in silver chrome to give it a little more realistic feel and smoothness when the kit pivots to different poses.
Just like its FM 1/100 kit counterpart, both of its Long Sword and Smoothbore Gun can be stored on its backpack when not in use.

ReplyDeleteThe mace is too skinny for my tastes, and the V-fin horns are too long and angled upwards like rabbit ears.
