  2. I can't say that this is all that surprising, but I am just not a huge fan of the design. I was more hoping for something like the Geara Zulu. Oh well.

  3. I like oversized HG kits. Makes them more affordable and more ways to mod them.

  4. Where this could’ve easily been an MG, why bother making an RE mold when it shares similarity to the MG Geara Doga or a zaku?

    1. well if bandai made this chances are they wouldn't base it on the old zaku 1.0 kit

    2. I don't think they called the MG GM Sniper II, GM Sniper Custom, or GM Command a 2.0 despite using a modified 2.0 frame.

You have to have a version 1 to have a version 2.

  7. hmmm this doesn't look good at all, I think I'll still get it but I'll also get a MG Zaku II and merge them to make a pseudo-MG Zaku II Kai

    1. I agree. It's just clunky in all the wrong ways. The Zaku FZ is a chunky boi, to be sure, but this guy just really misses the mark. The curves are too exaggerated and the proportions don't work. It's like Bandai saw where the HGUC version failed (too skinny, terrible scaling) and over-corrected for it.

Seems like Bandai's historically had a hard time interpreting the Zaku FZ into plastic --particularly with head(s) and arms. Robot Damashii definitely did it best with their A.N.I.M.E. version. While I have a lot of love for the Zaku FZ, I'll admit that it has a bit of a discordant design. But yeah, Robot Damashii put it all together really well.

I do like that they didn't smack this one with the excessive-panel-line-stick like they do with most RE/100s.

    2. How does it 'not look good at all' if it looks as screen-accurate as possible? or are you one of those people that love unneeded, over exaggerated details that don't stay faithful to the source material?

  8. About time to be honest. :/
Pity it's an RE but at least it exists.

  9. So.. From the looks of it, they just made a HGUC revive in 1/100 scale? Nice but, if only they could set this up for the HG line.

  10. Does anyone else thing the torso is too big?

  11. I am TORN on this. On one hand, it looks aesthetically cool and the PC plastic is thrown out the window, and I'm not mad at all at the proportions (it could have been the animation model, trust me.) On the other... I built the HG version of this guy, and this just looks like a beefed-up HG. But my biggest gripe comes from what could have been. What SHOULD have been. A Master Grade that commemorate one of the most heartfelt, tragic suits, maybe even the most tragic, in the entire franchise. That's all, I'm gonna go eat a burger. For Bernie.

  12. I have no idea what people are complaining about regarding this guy not looking good. It looks screen-accurate af and articulation-wise judging from those photos, it looks pretty poseable for a RE100 which is essentially a 1/100 HG.
