We sincerely thank the Chinese government for its positive response to this complaint and the efforts to protect intellectual property rights in order to allow the infringer to bear the due legal responsibility under the Chinese law. - Bandai Spirits, Jan 29, 2019

This is eventually gonna happened since Dragon Momoko got claimed back then.
ReplyDeletegood... but suing chinese companies in china is an uphill battle.
ReplyDeleteThe one time I actually like China's nonexistent copyright laws and then this happens.
ReplyDeleteGood RIDDANCE. Daban's supposedly the ones that ratted out and tattled on the FAR SUPERIOR DRAGON MOMOKO KITS to BanDai which got them shut down in the first place.
ReplyDeleteBout damn time Daban get what's coming to them.
The fact that Daban, the ultimate in straight up product theft, lasted as long as they did is more surprising than the fact that Bandai is finally proceeding with legal action against them.
DeleteThe purge is finally happening. Now two have fallen.
