In a tremendous turnout for the Gundam SEED Grand Prix 2024, Cagalli Yula Athha emerged as the fan favorite character, with the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam taking first place in the Mobile Suit category. This year's Grand Prix, which took place online from February 5 to February 25, 2024, on the dedicated Gundam SEED Grand Prix website, saw huge participation, with 1,530,082 votes cast.

The character rankings were hotly disputed, with Cagalli Yula Athha finishing first, followed by Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne. This list demonstrates the characters' ongoing popularity among fans, years after the series first aired.

The Freedom Gundam was chosen the best Mobile Suit, highlighting its iconic prominence in the Gundam universe. It was followed by the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam and the Destiny Gundam Spec II, both of which have special positions in the hearts of Gundam fans.

In "DESTINY," she put her country's needs ahead of her own and learned from her mistakes, which strengthened her relationships with others. Now that she has established herself as a renowned leader, her next personal aim is to find happiness. Fukuda said that given the series' rich and tumultuous history, Freedom Gundam might interrupt her next wedding. He thanked the audience for their support and emphasized the importance of the characters and mobile suits in propelling the series.
