Fans can now pre-purchase the S Gundam booster unit-equipped type from the METAL ROBOT spirit (Ka signature) lineup on the official Tamashii Nations Premium Bandai page beginning January 12th, 2024, with a June 2024 shipment date for 30,250 Yen, taxes included. This new announcement is more than just an extension; it is a redesign with new coloring specifications, putting a new spin on the classic S Gundam design.

Structure and Elements

The S Gundam, a creation of renowned mechanical designer Hajime Katoki, is meticulously brought to life. Die-casting provides the sculpture a significant sense of weight and depth in addition to enhancing its aesthetic appeal, offering collectors a remarkable visual experience.

Modification of Booster Units

One of the primary characteristics of this edition is the booster unit that comes with it. This modification gives the S Gundam extra play value and adaptability by allowing it to be changed into the S Gundam Bst type.

The package also comes with a set of connection parts that enables the sold separately METAL ROBOT Spirits (Ka signature) <SIDE MS> Zeta Plus C  to be transformed into its Bst kind as an added bonus. MSA-0011 S Gundam

The S Gundam was a mobile suit that was strongly armored and armed. Built from Gundarium γ alloy composite, it could withstand physical abuse that would disintegrate a less durable mobile suit—a useful attribute given Ryou Roots's subpar piloting abilities. The S Gundam's legs and lower torso made for the second fighter craft, known as the G Bomber (also called the B Parts). If the pilots in both fighter craft were absent, ALICE could take control of them both. The G-Core, which was the C Parts, was flown by Ryou Roots. Similar to the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the S Gundam is equipped with two generators located in each leg, plus an extra pair on the shoulders.

During the mission, Task Force Alpha's engineers were supposed to improve the S Gundam on the ground. During the design stages of the S Gundam's eventual upgrade to the MSA-0011[Ext] Ex-S Gundam, the Pegasus III's mechanics built many massive booster engine packs. But after certain Federation Fleet units were assaulted by New Desides soldiers, the decision was made to alter the S Gundam by replacing its legs with two boosters.

As a result, the MSA-0011[Bst] S Gundam Booster Unit Type was created and dispatched right away to support the struggling Federation Forces.
