The start of Q2 brings a thoughtful selection of new GunPla releases, including some long-awaited additions.

To mark the opening of the Gundam Pavilion in Osaka, a new lineup of 1/144 scale RX-78F00/E models joins the collection. This includes the RX-78F00/E Gundam with its distinctive Glass Feather Equipment, as well as two Entry Grade kits—one featuring the equipment as an expansion, and one as the standard RX-78F00/E.

Also arriving this month is the much-anticipated HG 1/144 Police Zaku, as seen in the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX anime.

Bandai Spirits has revealed the GunPla model for the Gundam NEXT Future Pavilion event, running from April 13 to October 13, 2025. This venue will also home the newest 1/1 scale Gundam, the RX-78F00/E, an updated design of the moving Gundam that once stood in Yokohama.

This new version features glass panels on its shoulders, skirt, and leg armor, giving it a more "futuristic" look compared to the original RX-78-2 Gundam. The kit also includes the EX-001 Glass Feather Equipment, a unique addition to the RX-78F00/E model.

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series, a special collaboration between Mobile Suit Gundam and fragment, the design project led by Hiroshi Fujiwara, has been revealed. This limited-edition model, officially named RX-78FRGMT Gundam, brings a sleek and modern take on the classic RX-78-2 Gundam.

The MG 1/100 RX-78FRGMT Gundam will be available via lottery sales on the official Japanese Premium Bandai website, starting February 17, 2025. Winners will be notified in March 2025.

This kit was first sold at the exclusive grand launch event of the collaboration, which took place at the concept store VA in Omotesando, Tokyo, from February 1 to February 24, 2025. The event showcased the fusion of Gundam and fragment aesthetics.

This special edition kit features a dark gray color scheme, reflecting the signature aesthetics of fragment. Additionally, it includes newly molded shield parts, replacing the EFSF cross with the iconic lightning FRGMT symbol, further emphasizing the collaboration’s unique design.

Officially named RX-78FRGMT Gundam, this exclusive release reimagines the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam through fragment’s distinct design.

The BMC 1/144 RX-78FRGMT Gundam will be available via a lottery sale on the official Japanese Premium Bandai website, starting February 17, 2025. Winners will be notified in March 2025, and the kit will be priced at 2,750 yen (tax included).

The ultimate form of the Gundam Astray Red frame appears in the Master Grade GunPla series. This form first appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray R photo-novel.

The kit comes with newly molded parts including the new head plates to form the Ddraig Head, Caletvwlch swords, V fin effect part, and of course flight unit!

A dedicated action base and newly designed sheet of decal marking are also included in the kit.

CALETVWLCH

• The very unique set of swords of Astray Red Dragon are new to this kit. It is specifically designed to match the aesthetics of the MG Gundam Astray Red Frame.
• The Caletvwlch can be modified to form either the S (sword) mode or the G (gun) mode.

Premium Bandai announces the release of the GM Sniper from the Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. The kit shares some of its molds with the HGUC 1/144 GM Ground Type, provided with green color scheme. The kit of course comes with its signature weapon,  Long-Range Beam Rifle.

The RGM-79[G] GM Sniper is a specialized variant of the GM Ground Type, first appearing in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. While it shares the same basic performance as the GM Ground Type, the GM Sniper features enhanced sensor accuracy and a modified operating system optimized for its long-range beam rifle. Its cooling equipment and power transmission system are also fine-tuned to support sustained sniping operations, complemented by a distinct color scheme.

For the first time in the HGCE series, the artillery unit 'Blast Silhouette' has joined the GunPla lineup. This model is equipped with the strong Kerberos high-energy long-range beam weapon and the Deluge ultra-high muzzle velocity rail cannon. In addition, a triple missile launcher joins its formidable arsenal, all of which has been reconstructed with new modeling that fulfills the high HGCE series specifications. The blast silhouette's design allows it to stretch to the left and right, providing the Gundam with dynamic posing options when worn around the waist and showcasing its massive firepower in any display.

Despite its emphasis on long-range bombardment, the Blast Impulse Gundam is not without its weapons in close battle. The kit also includes the Defiant Beam Javelin, which expands the Gundam's battlefield capabilities. Due to Celestial Being's dwindling resources after the conflict with the A-Laws and Innovades, Zabanya was constructed using Cherudim's frame structure and derived components. Bandai Spirits has started the Glory of Losers Operation Meteor series kit variants with the amazing release of the Shenlong Gundam with its Liaoya Unit! This kit shares the same molds with the regular released Shenlong Gundam, packed with newly molded parts for its big sword unit "Liaoya" - along with the alternate shield connector molding for the unit.

The Liaoya is an additional weapon for the Shenlong Gundam. It was featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam Endless Waltz "Glory of the Losers" Manga. It is large sword that is connected to the Shenlong Shield through a cable, which allows it to be retrieved when thrown.

Premium Bandai has officially completed the updated versions of the main mobile suits of the Gundam Wing series with the announcement of Altron Gundam in the HGAC GunPla line.

The HGAC Altron Gundam comes with a unique backpack that holds a pair of Wing Binders as well as a Twin Beam Cannon. It also has a "Altron Shield" shield mounted to its left shoulder armor, akin to the Shenlong Gundam, as well as a Twin Beam Trident, an improved version of Shenlong's Beam Glaive.

The arms are foldable, allowing the Altron Gundam to perform a variety of fighting tactics and stances. A gigantic claw-like weapon in the shape of a dragon's head is attached to its forearms and folds forward when utilized.

The Altron Gundam was developed from the debris of the Shenlong Gundam, with Gundam scientists covertly upgrading the mobile suit with additional technology and armament at the OZ's production facility on the moon. The Altron, like its predecessor, is a close combat unit, but its upgraded weaponry give it improved ranged warfare capabilities.

The most anticipated duo from the Mobile Suit Gundam W series has finally arrived in the High Grade After Colony (HGAC) model kit series!
