INITIAL RELEASE
Release Date: January 2021
Price: 4,180 Yen

The most anticipated duo from the Mobile Suit Gundam W series has finally arrived in the High Grade After Colony (HGAC) model kit series! This new release features the Vayeate and Mercurius models, meticulously detailed with newly molded parts that capture the unique characteristics of each mobile suit, from their distinct horns to their specialized equipment and weaponry. Some components are shared with the HGAC Leo, but this kit includes a significant number of upgraded parts and add-ons to create these specific variations.

What's New in the Kit?

Beam Cannon for Vayeate:
  • Main Armament: Vayeate's primary weapon is a beam cannon supported by a large backpack unit. The beam cannon is connected to the backpack via a transparent plastic energy cable, enhancing the model's realistic appearance.
  • Telescopic Deployment: The backpack unit features a telescopic deployment mechanism that can be adjusted to mimic the realistic operation of the beam cannon.
  • Support Arm: For added stability and structural support, a support arm is included, which can hold the beam cannon steady when the Vayeate is in standby mode.

Planet Defensor for Mercurius:

  • Main Equipment: Mercurius is equipped with a 5-pair funnel bit unit, known as the Planet Defensor. When not in use, these bits attach to its backpack.
  • Energy Shield: The bits can be deployed to form a strong energy shield, providing protection against almost any attack, including the powerful twin buster rifles of the Wing Gundam Zero.
  • Special Stand Set: The set comes with a special stand and clear parts specifically designed to display the Mercurius with its Planet Defensor units in various dynamic poses.

    1. Yea I'm about to quit Gunpla. Everything cool is PBandai for no reason but to make more money. I've been a fan of these two since the 00s and now that they finally make them they're PBandai and already over 140$ on eBay. They did the same with Advance of Z and I'm honestly tired of paying 3x markup price if I'm lucky or missing out. Time to find another hobby.

  5. Why P-Bandai for this though??? Don't get the logic on why they would go putting this out as P-Bandai.

  6. Look good, might pick a set up. But more importantly: We're one step closer to Virgo and Virgo II kits now.

  8. wait. Am I reading this correctly or did I miss something. Does this kit contain all the parts to build both mobile suits? Or an option to build one or the other? Because if it contains enough to build both for $40 before shipping. Hey that ain't to bad for P-Bandai honestly

    1. yup, it's two whole kits. you really can;t make it just an option to build which version since unlike the Maganac sets these have different colors.
