On December 20, 2024, the official Bandai Hobby Site announced that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the release of the Real Grade Shining Gundam has been postponed from April to June 2025.

At this year's 62nd All Japan Model and Hobby Show, an exciting announcement was made for fans of Mobile Fighter G Gundam as the Real Grade (RG) GunPla lineup is expanding! To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the G Gundam series, the iconic Shining Gundam will be joining the RG series.

The Shining Gundam, developed by Dr. Mikamura for the 13th Gundam Fight, was designed with a strong focus on mobility, balancing both offense and defense. Its unique ability allows it to replicate the martial arts techniques of the "Undefeated of the East," as performed by Domon Kasshu, the champion of colony martial arts. Optimized for close combat, the Shining Gundam carries minimal fixed weapons.

A standout feature of this mobile fighter is that its performance is directly influenced by the pilot's emotions and condition. Additionally, it includes a mechanism that enables it to power up in stages.
