The Gundam Factory Yokohama will be holding a limited release RX-78F00 in 1/48 scale for the first time. The kit features variety of surprises that were not available in other 1/48 scale release GunPla models - like LED unit built in to its head, and fully detailed decal sheet!
The hands are also featured with articulated fingers that is faithful to the actual 1:1 scale RX-78-F00 in Yokohama. In addition, this kit offers a wide range of articulation, in which the 1/48 RX-78-F00 can be posed in many ways with the help of its modified joints, that were specifically engineered for this model.
This kit will only be sold exclusively in Gundam Factory Yokohama while supplies last.

The proportions are too slender for my liking...

Bandai has gone further downhill to disappoint. The range of articulation is only impressive when joints are covered with "extending" or "shifting" armor. All the open joint areas to allow movements are just mediocre. Stick in a socket, and stick can turn 360 degrees. Gundam kits made in the 80's do the same thing.
