  1. Oh, cool. It almost feels like a mashup of Barbatos and Bael. I hope the actual thing has at least some of that color separation the painted version does.

    1. to me it is the mash up looks of the barbatos and bael and the gimmick of the rebake

    2. don't forget the sword and sheath gimmick of astaroth origin

    3. true just as if they threw Barbatos and Bael into an blender and poof perfection.

  2. omg... did bandai actually announce something that's not p-bandai????

  3. I need this. I don't care how good the kit is, the MS's design far outweighs anything bad there could be about the kit

  4. I thought Bandai had learned their lesson with how their IBO HG kits look with those stickers, but boi, they still haven't.
Those red and yellows are everywhere.

    1. With a price of 24,000 yen it should have some decent seperation save for some places.

    2. You mean 2,420 Yen. 24,000 yen is pretty much beyond the price of even a Perfect Grade kit.

  5. This makes me think of what the bael would look like upgraded

  6. Yikes, looks like we're getting a really big sticker sheet. All of the red except the head, collar, chest, crotch, knees, and feet. All of the yellow, except the middle part of the v-fin, and the chest. Those red stickers on the tips of the binders are gonna be the worst. The overall design is pretty cool though.

  7. If anyone is wondering, this is what Gundam Hajiroboshi used to look like during the Calamity War before looking like what it is now.

  8. My god, a new HG IBO kit!
    There is hope after all!

    1. I haven't built an IBO kit in such a long time so i'm glad i'll be able to build another.
There's all the P-Bandai kits but they get expensive so i'd rather focus on retail kits for now.

  9. Gundam Hajiroboshi's real form, complete with a real demon name.

  10. Wait as a follow up, this is the precursor to the Hajiroboshi..... GIMMIE THE HAJIROBOSHI TO BANDAI PLEASE!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Calling it, Hajiroboshi will be P-Bandai if this is a mass release.

  11. I already have a color scheme in mind for the repaint.

    ReplyDelete
  12. is this the calamity war version of hajiroboshi?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yeah, this is Hajiroboshi's real identity and he's amazing to see.

  13. Oh my god! my IBO fanboi senses have been activated!
PLZ BANDAI make Ortlinde and Gremory models kits too!

  14. with a higher price point, it better have good color separation and FEWER STICKERS. (plz bandai...)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Woaaaahh! Could it be? Our first explicitly pre-Calamity War Gundam Frame? Excluding the Flauros since all it got was a repaint?

    1. Don't forget Gundam bael kimaris vidar is also calamity war variants

    2. Oh my gosh, I forgot Bael, Kimaris and Astaroth, whoops! I'm a dummy! :'D

  16. This right here is what Bael SHOULD have looked like.

  17. Is Hajiroboshi getting a HG P-Bandai release?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Can we get a hg of the gremory gundam?
    Pls. Bandai

    ReplyDelete
  19. Some of the armor looks too large to fit on the hg gundam frame. Like a little kid trying on their older sibling's clothes.
    Still getting it though.

  20. Looks like Hajiboroshi will be a P-Bandai.......

    ReplyDelete
  21. If bandai decides to use their new tech on this kit then woo-hoo majority of the red parts should be actual parts if not...
    Big sticker sheet time

  22. "Bael on steroids"
    - someone on the internet

  23. I hope Bandai make Gremory and Vual Yuhana too..

  24. Dammit Bandai give as a upgrade Angel class types ver of ASW-G-01 Gundam Bael just like the new Gundam frame ASW-G-35 Marchosias and Hajiboroshi plsssssssssss.................................

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. There's no angel class type of gundam frame in the first place.

  25. I want to know exactly which Gundam Frame runner this kit uses. If I were to guess, it'll probably be the Gundam Frame 4 runner, like Bael, Barbatos 6th Form, Lupus and Lupus Rex, but that's just going by who designed Marchosias (Naohiro Washio).

    1. I am legit baffled that they refused to use Frame 4 for everything in Season 2. It's literally the same frame, but square hole polycaps for the feet.

      Delete
    2. I mean, not everything was a Gundam Frame...

Also one of them was literally Kimaris

      Delete
  26. Oh that boxart is straight KILLER. Seems to be a huge step up since the last IBO kit we got

    ReplyDelete
  27. let's hope those arm joints can handle the weight of that large sword

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'm sure it can.

The Bastard Mace, on the other hand, that might be a different story... I'd say that our best equivalent might be the Sledgehammer of Gundam Astaroth Origin, if you wanted a point of comparison.

  28. Do you think a Dengeki Hobby OOB build picture would be taken for this kit? im really curious as to how huge the stickers are going to be and where.

    ReplyDelete
  29. They show the contents of the box on YouTube. Some big red stickers but not a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  30. New pix look great, knew it would look better once those 'wing' binders got moved down. I'm definitely not worried about a sticker sheet because I'll be grey/silver scaling mine!!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If I were to guess from the common trait shared between all those shots of the binders being down, it appears to be a close combat configuration. It's not using any of its swords in those shots, just its Knuckle Guards.

      Delete
  31. This design makes even less sense than the ZZ gundam and even some of the G Gundam designs.

    ReplyDelete
  32. These new shots are making Marchosias look like a chonky boi.
