    1. It's a color and parts variant of the Moon Gundam, it'd be cool if it was a regular retail release but I can understand why it isn't.

Now I'll be really annoyed if the G-Doors is a P-Bandai.

  2. Gotta love when a grunt suit that is shown off in the most recent episode turns out to be Pbandai

  3. Aw, come on! Not only is the Varguil P-Bandai, but the Daughtress too?! It appears in the opening!

So help me if you announce an HGAW Daughtress and make that P-Bandai...

...I mean I'll still buy it.

  4. who cares if it's P-Bandai just pre-order it and you won't have to worry about scalper fees

    1. Not everyone lives in Japan. Get over your self centered way of thinking.

  5. It seems like since the gundam pixie more and more kits that are 100% original runners (not the varguil since its moon gundam runners) are being made p bandai out the gate, i dont get why they are doing this other than to make it harder for non Japanese fans to get the kits, they are gonna be like twice as expensive to get state side and that kills me.

    1. Well it depends on seller. I was lucky enough to buy Three P Bandai Kits at reasonable price.

  6. Varguil / Moon may very well be the best HG kit in existence, but still, sad to see this version is only a limited release. Also sad that this makes getting a G-Doors or Theta Plus or Rick Dijeh less likely.

  7. Wow Bandai, Just wow, You are just gonna P-Bandai everything now aren't you. I may just give up on the hobby at this point. Since you clearly don't want the west to buy anything anymore

    1. The Varguil is a parts and color variant of the Moon Gundam, much like the P-Bandai GM Ground Sniper was a parts and color variant of the GM Ground Type.
There's plenty of other kits out there that are new and aren't P-Bandai if you want them.

    2. Dude even asians outside of Japan are getting tired of this. It's ridiculous that I can't get a suit that should've been a regular release like the wing EW MGs, but instead get a concept version. They're just defying expectations in the wrong way

  8. Is Bandai really losing THAT MUCH money every year?

It used to be only a few P-Bandai per year. Now it's like every other kit each month is a P-Bandai.

    1. There's around 5-6 P-Bandai kits per month. The thing is, the first wave of popular kits can often sell out within hours from when orders open. That means that every possible kit that Bandai can possibly manufacture between production start and the first shipment is pre-sold, at MSRP (usually well above Japanese retail prices) with no middle-men taking a cut.

Of course they're going to keep doing it. It's working incredibly well for them.

  9. Man what happened to releasing some P-Bandai kits as regular outside of Japan like that one time with XN-Raiser? That would've been appropriate for completely new kits like Mudrock. Also, why would they even P-Bandai a line from a gunpla show? I mean they're already customs on their own, meaning it's already an excuse to sell the same suit twice, provided they release the original first like any sane person would.

    1. That stopped after Bluefin started selling P-Bandai kits. Hard to market something as online exclusive if it's not actually an online exclusive.

    2. But bluefin's selection is very limited. Also, around 80% of this year's releases were P-Bandai...
