The modeler's plan is to define the nu Gundam into another presentation. He wanted to make a new backpack to give the nu Gundam a new look by giving it a sub-arm unit instead of funnels. While looking at the finished product, the modeler realized that it won't be complete without any funnels, so he ended up adding more.

Not only that he succeed to give it a new look, the sub-arm feature also helped give the nu Gundam a different approach to its features.
