  1. Is it just me or does the "unarmored" version kinda looks like a child?

    1. You're not mistaken; the Core Gundam is smaller than your average Gunpla. The Planet System's armors add parts to the legs which make it look more like your typical mecha proportions for 1/144 scale. I think the best indication is when you look at the shots of the legs of Earthree from behind, where you see Core Gundam's feet folded down.

  2. There is a 100% chance that, at some point in the anime, the Core Gundam will have to eject its armor in order to continue battling and win.

  3. Core Gundam: When the design team is confused about the scale...

It's like, they couldn't decide between SDCS (the tall version) and HG.

    1. well, there's always those SDxHG style custom builds.
i'd say the Core Gundam is Bandai's version of it

  5. I can get over the midget core design consideiy it's basically a more advance per say version of a core block system or maybe a better comparison is the AGE wear system

    1. I still can't figure out how it is based on the rx-78-2

    2. Its basic armaments seem to mirror the OG Gundam (shield, beam rifle, two beam sabers - Earthree basically making it a full-size version), and the shoulders bear the most resemblance to its design base from what I've seen. I'd also argue the head is pretty close, too.

    3. Well if your going by reused parts, not based on the RX-78-2. But in terms of looks and armaments it's a pretty close match. The color seperation is almost identical, just make his dark grey chest a blue one and you can see how close it is.

  6. i still think core gundam is based of age-fx kit, especially when you see the front crotch pieces and its jewel, the front part of the helmet (compare the indentation of the would be forehead pieces of planet armor) and the weapon attachment for the rifle

    1. It's significantly better than the OO diver and nearly everything else from build divers
