HGBD 1/144 Leo NPD [Non Player Diver] Sample Preview

A sample preview of runners and extra parts of Leo NPD has been teased by Bandai Hobby.

It looks like that the kit comes with enough parts to make the HGAC Leo with slightly different color scheme.

Leo NPD rolls out June 2018 for 1,200 Yen. You can see more images here: https://www.gundamkitscollection.com/2018/03/hgbd-1144-leo-npd-release-info.html

  1. I think having Player and Diver together is too much redundant. Considering that The "Players" were those who "Dive" into VR. Well I guess they just don't want yo stereotype with usung NPC..
But they could use NPU (Non Player Unit) or NPMS (Non Player Mobile Suite) if they want to keep the "NP-" part.. unless those are AI programs that could dive in and log off. But that makes less sence even.

  2. Does anybody else notice something unusual? I don't see a polycap runner. Granted, they may have just not included it in any of the photos, but then again they seem to have put intentional focus on the polycap like parts on those runners. Plus, when you take into account the soft runners from IBO frames they've been adding to HGs, I have a feeling we're going to see polycaps get phased out in favor of those soft frame piece runners.
