    1. I think PG Exia is making Bandai slow down with new kits. But that probably won't stop them from making more P-Bandai unfortunately.

  3. Only two HG's and the rest is P-Bandai. I think by the end of the year they're just gonna say fuck it and just make all releases permanently P-Bandai.

    1. It's not just gunpla suffering at this point, Bandai is really overusing their premium labels nowadays.

    2. That's actually a common theory. The theory goes that Bandai is trying to phase out normal releases and release all their kits directly to their customers through P-Bandai.

    3. I hope that does not happen. But if it did, I think it would kill their GunPla business since GunPla is sold all over the world and not everyone has access to P-Bandai kits in their country at retail price like Japan does. Also, if they made all GunPla P-Bandai, that would mean only a limited amount of people would be able to buy it. So that just makes no sense.

    4. @Ben Dover at this point I would totally believe it.

  4. Not a lot of releases in October. Maybe we will get more announcements for October later? But for now, at least we now that PG Exia is coming in December.

  5. Wow, the amount of P-Bandai kits listed for this month is downright obnoxious. Damn.

    1. Well considering that Bandai has been releasing a lot more P-Banadai kits for a few years now, it shouldn't be obnoxious but an unfortunate expectation at this point.

  6. I still don't get how they decide P-Bandai.
Most Wing upgrades = P-bandai, Lightning black warrior and Black local type are standard releases.

    1. I don't get it either. But sometimes, if it's something they can re-release by just recoloring and or including some extra parts for accessories, I think that is a deciding factor? But other times, Bandai seems to just be messing around with fans by announcing a particular kit and then just announcing it as P-Bandai.
Like the MG ZZ Gundam Ver. Ka they actually included a flyer in the box advertising the P-Bandai version. I think that was like a big slap in the face when they do that.

    2. Because they have tons a sales data, and they can predict what is going to sell the best. Just because you want it doesn't mean that's what's going to make them the most money.

    1. In 2017, we got GM Sniper 2, Providence, Providence Premium Edition, Justice, Origin Gundam Special Version, XN Raiser, ZZ Ver. Ka, and GM Sniper Custom. I think that's pretty good, but not even close to what we used to get with basically 1 MG per month.

  8. I really really hope that Bandai will show some good stuff at Gunpla Expo Nagoya this month.
